INTRIGUE
Right On Pointe was going into our fifth year working with OneSource Virtual on their annual customer appreciation event, in conjunction to Workday Rising. After researching and visiting many different locations, it was decided the event would be held at The Crystal Gardens at the famous Navy Pier, located on Lake Michigan. After creative meetings with the design team, the theme “Intrigue” was born. Just like a dream, our plan was to bring the gardens to life.
The doors opened up to a beautiful white carpet entrance and a living wall, with hands coming through handing out signature cocktails. The sounds of a 12-piece band, Emerald City, boomed throughout the gardens. Living statues roamed, while stopping with guests for pictures. Throughout the space were lounge areas, with a deep colored ambiance for networking and catching up.
While the environment of the evening was nothing short of spectacular, the weather outside was the opposite. An incredibly strong storm arrived just as the event started. Our team had to re-route the entrance to keep guests from having to walk the entryway in the pouring rain. We quickly took staff and placed them as human arrows, re-directing drivers to a new and dry drop off location. Although the rain was unexpected and caused quite a stir in the beginning, it complimented the enchanting feeling of the gardens that were brought to life.
